Renew your 2018 Business License ONLINE today!

Starting November 21, 2017 businesses will receive an email from "City of El Segundo TaxInquiries" with a link and a unique security code to log in. Once you log in you will be able to:
  • Complete the tax form
  • Make changes to your account
  • Pay online
    • credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express)
    • e-check
  • Print your Business License Certificate
If you would like to renew your license online or if you did not receive an e-mail from us, please click HERE (taxInquiries@elsegundo.org) and request your email with the secure link - please write your account number or business name and address in the subject line.

Street Resurfacing Project
News ImageAs part of Pavement Management Program, the City has contracted All American Asphalt to resurface several streets beginning November 3, 2017.


2017 Spark of Love Campaign

In an effort to provide for children who otherwise might not experience the joy of the holiday season, the City of El Segundo Fire Department along with other Southland fire agencies, has participated in the Spark of Love program for the past twenty four years and has been a collection site for toys and food items donated during the holidays.


Lighted Crosswalk Project

Beginning November 6, construction will occur near the mid-block crosswalks on Main Street between El Segundo Boulevard and Pine Avenue. Pushbutton poles will be installed on the sidewalks on either side of the crosswalks, new wireless lights will be installed in the street.


Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter Improvements Project

The City's annual concrete project to repair sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and crossgutters is scheduled to begin November 6, 2017. Project sites are located Citywide and the City's contractor will notify residents or property owners prior to beginning construction in an area.

Lane Restorations, New Traffic Measures in Playa del Rey

NEW City Office Hours
News ImageBeginning Monday, October 16, offices at City Hall and City Yard will have new office hours and will be open every other Friday starting on October 20.

New Electric Vehicle Charger
News ImageThe City has unveiled for public use an Electric Vehicle Charging Station at City Hall. Located in the public parking area along Holly Ave, the Station can service two cars at a time. The Council approved rate is $0.50 per kwh plus $0.50 per hour.

Pump Station 1 and 7 Modification Project

This project includes consolidation of pump stations 1 & 7, installation of new pumps and related equipment, and realignment of sewer force main within the street right-of-way.


NOTIFICATION: Traffic Lanes Reduced
News ImageSoCal Gas. Loop project on Aviation, Rosecrans, and Vista Del Mar is close to completion, and the tie-in operation is scheduled to start at 5 AM on Thursday, July 20 and continue until the tie-in is completed. The tie-in locations are Aviation Blvd. and 33rd St. and Vista Del Mar in front of the NRG power plant. The estimated time required to complete the tie-in will be approximately 20-hours, but may potentially last longer. Traffic lanes will be temporarily reduced in the immediate construction zone. Public use, including emergency access, of the street will still be available at all times.

New Water & Sewer Rates effective July 01, 2017
News ImageThe new rates associated with delivering your potable water and sewer treatment will increase effective July 1, 2017 in accordance with Proposition 218 and City Ordinance N. 1501, which was adopted by City Council on February 3, 2015.
