Keep Your Home California
News ImageKeep Your Home California was established under the U.S. Treasury Department's Hardest Hit Fund and has five programs, each designed to address different financial hardships that may affect an individual’s ability to pay their mortgage, to assist homeowners who are struggling with their mortgage payments. Qualifying homeowners can receive up to $100,000 to help them keep their homes.

Homeowners seeking more information about any of the Keep Your Home California programs should call (888) 954-KEEP (5337) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Making Noise About Noise

An FAA-sponsored website and complaint hotline that will enable noise-weary Los Angeles County residents to report clattering helicopters went live Tuesday, a long-awaited development applauded by all sides involved in the complex issue.

The Automated Complaint System, as it's dubbed by the Federal Aviation Administration, enables residents to research flight tracks of helicopters and identify those causing excessive noise via the website at Heli-Noise-LA.com.

People may file a complaint on the website or call the hotline at 424-348-HELI (4354).

NEW FEES ~ Tennis Court

Tennis Court - New Reservation Fees beginning April 1, 2015:

New hourly reservation fees will take effect for patrons making Tennis, Paddle Tennis, or Racquetball Court reservations at Recreation Park. Residents with a valid Rec. ID can make reservations up to 6 days in advance. Unreserved courts will be available on a first come, first serve basis to all players at the top of each hour; all fees are listed below. Please visit the Checkout Building or call 310-524-2700 for more information.


El Segundo Residents with a current Rec. ID - $5 per hour
El Segundo For Profit Groups - $10 per hour
Non-Residents - $15 per hour

Beach Shuttle - New Fees Beginning March 28, 2015:

Beginning March 28th El Segundo Residents will be required to show a valid Rec ID Card to ride the Beach Shuttle each way. Residents without a valid Recreation ID Card and Non-Resident riders will be required to pay $1 each way to utilize the shuttle. For information on obtaining a Rec ID Card call 310-524-2700.
