  • Business License Tax Administration -
    Responsible for administration and enforcement to insure compliance of the business license tax, related permits and fee requirements as stated in Title 4 of the El Segundo Municipal Code. The fees provided for in Title 4 are exclusively a tax imposed for revenue purposes and imposed only with the intent of the City to have each commercial activity sustain its just share of the burden or expense of local government, and defray the costs of administration of this Title.
  • Miscellaneous Accounts Receivable -
    Provides for the billing of miscellaneous City services. This includes fire inspections, fire permits, false alarm responses, annual sewer surcharges, street repair/property damage, and various other reimbursements.
  • Purchasing -
    Coordinates the purchase of material, supplies, equipment and services for all City departments assuring compliance with current purchasing policies and procedures. Accountable for negotiating with suppliers the availability, price, and terms of purchasing needed supplies and equipment while making certain all insurance requirements are met.
