Attended SEMS Introduction and Finance/Administration training.Coordinated the delivery and storage of Citywide emergency food supplies.
Initiated process for purchase and installation of WebEOC® for use by all City staff during day-to-day operations and particularly in a disaster.
Assisted with the 12th Annual Super CPR Saturday event in coordination with the El Segundo High School and American Red Cross and established an Incident Command System to be in compliance with NIMS.
Set-up and maintained a spreadsheet tracking system for training all City personnel for compliance in National Incident Management System (NIMS) which includes documentation of training. The matrix also includes SEMS and ICS training.
Completed the 106 page GAP survey for the California Office of Emergency Services so that the legislature will see where the State stands in relation to preparedness activities.
Completed the 2007 NIMSCAST Metrics assessment as to where the City stands in regards to compliance with all parts of NIMS compliance.
Reestablished the Business & Industry Emergency Preparedness Committee so that partnerships at all levels can be achieved.
Completion of the City’s Tsunami Incident Response Annex.
