Conduct one Literacy Training workshop to train new literacy tutors.
Expand the Evening Book Club discussion to cover six months worth of book discussions.
Develop an El Segundo Community Reads program. Select a book for the community to read all at the same time and create programs to complement the book selection.
Create four new bibliographies to promote adult services, collections, and programs.
Coordinate the 11th annual Author Fair in June 2011 to include approximately 35 authors, two panels, children’s performers, music and handouts.
Continue a monthly concert series in the Friends Meeting Room from September 2010 to December 2011. Include many varieties of cultural music, musicians, and instruments.
Evaluate the electronic databases and the e-book collection for content and usage. Select others based on need.
Evaluate and make recommendations to the Director for reductions in the adult book and materials budget for FY 2010-2011.
