How long is the class?
The class runs about 2 to 3 hours.Each class has four sections, Registration, Lecture, which lasts about 45 minutes, Practice which lasts about 1 and ½ hours and the Test, which can last from ½ hour to 1 hour.
Is the class certified?
The class is certified through the American Red Cross as a Lay Person Adult CPR class.
Is Child/Infant CPR taught?
No, to complete the course within 2 ½ hours and due to site and equipment logistics, we are unable to teach Child/Infant CPR.
How do I get certification?
You attend all class sections and successfully complete the test. At the end of the class you get the certification.
I have signed up on the City web site.How do I know I am registered for the class?
You will get an e-mail confirmation as to which class you are registered for.If you do not get your registration confirmation by October 30th, or 2 days after you register after October 30th, or 2 days after you register after October 30th, please check your junk email folder and if you still don't have the email, then email ElsegundoCPR@gmail.com.
Where is the class?
The class is being held at El Segundo High School, 640 Main Street, El Segundo.Registration is in the main hallway outside of the Auditorium.
What time should I get to the class?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your class time to allow for a timely registration. If you haven't checked in by 5 minutes before your class start time, your spot may be released and given to a standby student.
I selected the Submit button at the bottom of the registration form and nothing happened.How do I know I am registered?

What is the minimum age requirement for taking this class?
Students must be 12 years or older to receive the adult CPR certification.
How do I cancel my reservation?
If you will not be able to attend after you register, please email ElsegundoCPR@gmail.com so that we can give your spot to another person. We always have a wait list so please be courteous and let us know if you will not be able to attend.
