Sections 65450 through 65457 of the State Government Code define the criteria under which specific plans may be adopted. These sections require that a specific plan include land uses, infrastructure, development standards, implementation including financing, and a statement of the relationship of the specific plan to the general plan. The Downtown Specific Plan shall be administrated in accordance with the City Municipal Code, except as noted under item B. 2. below.
Specific Plan Administration
Administrative Determinations
Administrative Determinations shall comply with Chapter 20.72 of the El Segundo Municipal Code.
Development Standards Determinations
The Director of Community, Economic and Development Services may grant administrative determinations related to development and design standards, provided any administrative relief shall not exceed 10% of any development or design standard.
Authority to Inspect
Inspections shall comply with Chapter 20.97 of the El Segundo Municipal Code.
Penalty
Penalties shall comply with Chapter 20.98 of the El Segundo Municipal Code.
California Environmental Quality Act Compliance
The Specific Plan was approved in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State CEQA Guidelines (Guidelines), and City policies adopted to implement CEQA and the Guidelines.
