Lieutenant Jeff Leyman is the police department’s Area Commander for the West Command, which includes the area west of Sepulveda Boulevard.Lieutenant Leyman began his law enforcement career in 1993 with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and joined the El Segundo Police Department in 1995.He has worked a variety of assignments including patrol officer, canine handler, field training officer, and administrative sergeant.He is currently assigned to the Uniform Division, where he serves as a Patrol Watch Commander.
