Goals & Objectives FY 2009/2010

  • Maintain current level of dispatching 90% of priority one (emergency) public safety calls in less than 30 seconds.
  • Develop 9-1-1 Performance Review and Quality Assurance Standards.  The standards will be designed to promote adherence to established goals and procedures, and provide a framework for continuous improvement of the overall operation of the communications center.
  • Maintain three person minimum staffing in communications center at all times.
  • Identify, secure, and load at least one additional radio frequency to be used for Fire/Police tactical operations.
  • Train all communications' personnel as mandated by the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST).
