The El Segundo Police Department now provides Live-Scan fingerprinting services: No appointment required, based on officer's availability You must bring a completed Request for Live-Scan Service form with you The application form must provide a Miscellaneous Code or Billing Code for processing Must provide a valid or current government issued identification No INS fingerprint available The cost of $10.00 fingerprints rolling fee, we only accept cash and the exact change

All reports of street lamp outages should be directed to them at (800) 611-1911 or click here to report it online. Make sure you mention the exact location of the street lamp and have the pole number of the street lamp ready (pole numbers are located on the lamp pole itself). Back to top Q. Need to go to the police dept with a picture ID (ie: Calif Drivers Lic./Calif ID/Passport) to obtain a report. Only a victim of a crime, authorized agent, or involved party in a traffic accident can obtain a report. If the victim, reporting party, or authorized agent is not able to pick up a copy of the report in person, they may send ESPD a self addressed stamped envelope and a request we can mail the report out. Also, send a copy of a above listed id. Arrest reports may also be picked up by the arrestee, however, there is a $67.00 fee. (cash only/exact change) These reports can also be picked up free of charge from the Los Angeles Airport Court. Back to top Q. What are the fees for reports? No charge for reports. The ESPD will accept a report by telephone of a missing person, including runaways, without delay and will give priority to the handling of that report. Back to top Q. How can I get my car out of impound? Only the registered owner can get a vehicle out of impound. The registration must be up to date and the person must have a valid drivers license. If not, the registered owner must also bring a licensed driver to drive the vehicle. If the vehicle requires a smog check, fees must be deposited at the DMV and a moving permit must be obtained. How to file a restraining order? Restraining orders are obtained at the Torrance Superior Court, 825 Maple Ave., Torrance (310) 222-8801. Go to the 5th Floor of the courthouse to an office outside the far north courtroom. Staff there will assist you. Office hours are 8:30am - 4:00pm Mon-Fri. No police report is required to file a restraining order.
