The Parks Division provides our residents and visitors with outdoor recreation experiences that increase their appreciation of our natural resources. Through the conscientious maintenance of city parks, street trees and medians, sports fields, and leased lands maintained as green space, this Division helps create a green infrastructure that is essential to providing relief from urban development, preserves the environment, and provides a variety of opportunities for recreation through our facilities.

The Parks Division also assists with the maintenance for recreational facilities, playground equipment inspections, pest control, and facilitation of city wide special events. Through their stewardship, the Parks Division protects natural resources and habitat, and provides natural areas for the community to gather and interact.
