·         Hired a Park Maintenance Supervisor.

·         Assisted with the installation of new deck heaters at the Urho Saari Swim Stadium.

·          Stevenson field was retro-fitted with a high efficiency irrigation system.

·         Painted the interior bleacher area at the Urho Saari Swim Stadium.

·         The City was recertified as Tree City U.S.A. for the 6th straight year.

·         Stevenson Field was retro-fitted with energy saving Musco athletic field lights.

·         Staff installed new drought-tolerant plant material throughout Recreation Park.

·         Staff painted the walls, railings, and trash receptacles at Candy Cane Park.

·         Provided a computer with internet and email access for the Department’s Craft Worker position.

·         Installed new bat racks in the dugouts of Stevenson Field.
