Accomplishments During FY 2007/2008
- Directed the completion of major capital improvement projects such as the Douglas Street Gap Closure Project.
- Directed the management of contracts for trash hauling, traffic signal maintenance, street lighting and street sweeping.
- Hosted the first Environmental Fair for El Segundo residents.
- Applied for and administered several environmental grant awards.
- Managed NPDES, TMDL and WDR compliance activities.
- Directed the management of Public Works Engineering, Water, Streets and General Services Divisions.
- Directed the management of sewer and storm drain operations and maintenance.
- Directed the management of City-owned buildings and facilities maintenance.
