Accomplishments During FY 2008/2009

  • Directed the completion of major capital improvement projects such as the Douglas Street Gap Closure Project.
  • Directed the management of contracts for trash hauling, traffic signal maintenance, street lighting and street sweeping.
  • Hosted the first Environmental Fair for El Segundo Residents.
  • Awarded several environmental grant awards.
  • Managed NPDES, TMDL and WDR compliance activities.
  • Directed the management of Public Works Engineering, Water, Streets and General Services Divisions.
  • Directed the management of sewer and storm drain operations and maintenance.
  • Directed the management of City-owned buildings and facilities maintenance.
