There will be no change to the daily trash collection schedule as Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Sunday’s.

By recycling your Christmas tree, you can help our environment and keep this valuable resource out of our landfills.
Residents with City-provided trash service can place Christmas Trees curbside on regular collection days during the period of December 26, 2011 January 16, 2012.
Trees must be cut into lengths no longer than six feet and be free of plastic containers, ornaments, garlands, tinsel, lights and metal stands. Flocked trees and trees coated with fire retardant will be accepted.
Multi-Family Units that do not have City-provided trash service can drop off their trees during this same period at the Maintenance Facility at 150 Illinois Street.
