Residences with City-provided trash service may dispose of large items on their regularly scheduled collection days. Place items such as washers, sofas, water heaters, refrigerators (door must be removed or secured) at your regular solid waste/recycling site by 7:00am. A special truck will pick up items by 5:00pm. Please note that size and weight are limited to what two workers can lift safely.
Also during Spring Clean-Up Week, City crews will pick up unbundled tree limbs and branches. Place them curbside by 7:00am, Monday, 4/16. Make sure not to block any public right-of-way (sidewalk or street). Limbs can be any length and a maximum circumference of six inches. To make a reservation for this service, you will need to call the week before Clean-Up Week (April 9th - 13th). Please call 524-2709.
