Goals & Objectives FY 2007/2008
Continue efforts to provide technical assistance and outreach to increase awareness of waste reduction and recycling. Implement and monitor the City’s Source Reduction and Recycling Program and file the 2006 Annual Report. Coordinate Clean-Up Weeks, Christmas Tree Recycling Program and Telephone Book Recycling Program. Administer the City refuse and recycling contract. Administer the Department of Conservation Beverage Container Recycling Grant. Conduct composting class.
