The objective of Planet Aid's Clothes Collection is to establish an efficient reuse system for second hand clothing. It is a locally based activity benefiting Planet Aid's development aid objectives, while also contributing to local and national goals for increased recycling.

This is how it works:

The clothes collection box is located at the City's Public Works Maintenance Yard 150 Illinois Street, El Segundo. You drop off your unwanted clothes, shoes, and small toys in a box.

RECYCLING BATTERIES & LIGHT BULBS

Cans and newspapers are easy to recycle, but what in the world are we supposed to do with things like batteries and light bulbs? Both contain hazardous materials that can harm our environment.

Now there is a solution! El Segundo residents can drop off batteries and light bulbs at City Hall/Public Works Department, 350 Main Street.
