Goals & Objectives FY 2008/2009

·         Replace 50,000 square feet of asphalt pavement throughout the City in preparation of the annual Slurry Seal Maintenance project.

 

·    Remove weeds from Sepulveda Boulevard, Downtown streets and sidewalks, and from private properties inspected by the Fire Department due to noncompliance with the Trash/Weed Abatement Program.

 

·    Maintain a list of curb and sidewalk complaints from residents and staff.  Repairs will be made under contract.  Administer concrete replacement contract.

 

·    Repair the northwest quadrant of the residential community for slurry seal.

 

·     Develop a graffiti abatement and enforcement program through consultation with Police and Code Enforcement. Remove graffiti in accordance with the City’s Graffiti Removal Program for facilities in the public right-of-way and on City buildings, except Parks Department facilities, within 24 hours of notification.  (The Parks Department has its own program).
