Valentines Day

Celebrate your love with your special someone and the environment:

  • Try to buy organic/ locally grown flowers or buy a potted plant so the plant can live a long, loved life.
  • If you are one for sweets, make sure to buy Fair Trade chocolate.
  • Want to impress your loved one with jewelry? Try to get recycled, repurposed jewelry- this will not only impress your special someone, but also be unique and one of a kind.
  • If you are looking for a gift that's other than jewelry, look local handmade gift shops or shop online at Etsy or even make your own eco-friendly gift!
  • Looking for a romantic place to eat, check out the green restaurants near you or better yet find ways to cook a special green dinner that helps the environment.
  • For an all day activity, go outside on a new hike and explore what mother nature has for the both of you!
