How We Make a Difference:
All year long, Friends' volunteers undertake numerous fundraising and Friend-raising activities to achieve our goals, such as:
Participate in community events where we provide information about the Library and the Friends.
Collect and maintain historical materials about the City of El Segundo.
Organize ongoing sales of used books, games, puzzles, magazines and DVDs, plus our Annual Holiday Sale of donated items and collectibles suitable for gift-giving.
Provide annual scholarships to High School students.
Invite everyone to become a dues-paying member of the Friends.
