Community Meetings to Discuss Proposed Fees for Aquatics and Transportation Programs

The City of El Segundo Recreation & Parks Department is hosting three Community Meetings to seek feedback from El Segundo residents regarding the proposed fees to participate in aquatics drop-in programs and transportation services.  The aquatics fees would be implemented for programs such as lap swim, recreation swim, and Swimnastics.  Transportation services include Dial-A-Ride and Beach Shuttle.  

The El Segundo City Council authorized new fees for various Recreation and Parks Department services including facility rentals and drop-in play at Campus El Segundo Athletic Facility.  It is their desire to seek more community feedback on the fees that have not yet been approved. 

The meetings will take place at the following times and locations:

Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 10:00am at the Joslyn Center(339 Sheldon St.)
Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 6:30pm at the Clubhouse (301 E. Pine Ave.)
Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00am at the Joslyn Center (339 Sheldon St.)
