The Annual Author Fair Returns to the El Segundo Public Library, Sunday, June 1st, 2008!

Two author panels will be held this year:  a "Going Green" non-fiction panel featuring authors Ed Bagley, Jr., Ferris Kawar, David Lynch, and David Steinman; and a mystery fiction panel featuring authors Alan Cook, Mildred Dumas, Darrell James, Ona Russell, and John Shannon.  El Segundo City Mayor Kelly McDowell will moderate the Going Green discussion, and Dina Cramer, the Library's former Public Services Manager, will moderate the mystery discussion.

Jane Austen, author of many works including Pride and Prejudice and Emma, will appear for an in-character performance.  Enjoy a delightful afternoon with Jane as she reads from her own works and shares her family and neighborhood gossip.

The Young People's Library will present storytelling, balloon art, Michael Wright reading his latest book Jake Stays Awake, and a chance to meet authors Rosanna Eubank Dude, Patricia Reeder Eubank, and Sarah White.
