AB 341 takes effect on July 1, 2012 and requires a business, defined to include a commercial or public entity, that generates more than 4 cubic yards of commercial solid waste per week or is a multifamily residential dwelling of 5 units or more to arrange for recycling services, on and after July 1, 2012. The City of El Segundo has implemented the Everbridge Mass System for Citizen Alerts. The emergency notification system provides emergency notifications by communicating the alerts to thousands of businesses and residents in minutes. The system allows you to receive emergency alerts by cell phone, text message and email, as well as your home phone. If you want to use this system, we need you to update your contact information.

Library Board of Trustees Meeting This is a special meeting of the Library Board, postponed from the May 8th meeting date.
The five board members of the Library Board of Trustees discuss library programs and important issues relating to library services. They meet on a bi-monthly basis on the second Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Library's Rose Garden Room--January, March, May, July, September, and November.
