Additional Rec Swim and Lap Swim hours are being offered for the Thanksgiving Holiday! During the week of Monday, November 25th through Saturday, November 30th, The Plunge will be open for Rec Swim Monday-Wednesday 1:30p-5:00pm, Friday 1:30pm-5:00pm & 7:15pm-8:30pm, and Saturday 1:15pm-3:15pm.
Lap Swim will be offered Monday-Wednesday and Friday 10:30am-1:00pm & 8:15pm-9:45pm (No pm lap swim on Friday) and Saturday 6:00am-7:30am & 11:00am-1:00pm.

The City of El Segundo has implemented the Everbridge Mass System for Citizen Alerts. The emergency notification system provides emergency notifications by communicating the alerts to thousands of businesses and residents in minutes. A Visit with the Claus Family Join us for this special holiday program! We'll sing carols with the Claus family, listen to Santa tell stories, and then the little ones can meet Santa. The free program will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10th in the Friends of the Library Room. Children under eight must be accompanined by an adult. Planning Commission Meeting
Planning & Building Safety's Planning Commission was established pursuant to the Planning Laws of the State of California (Sec. 65100-65106) on August 20, 1946, by City Ordinance #300. The commission is comprised of 5 members who serve with minimal compensation, for 4-year terms, without term limits. The commission makes recommendations to the City Council on the adoption or amendment of the City's General Plan; performs duties with respect to land subdivision, planning and zoning as prescribed by City and State law; and, advises the City Council on those matters falling within its charged responsibilities in a manner reflecting concern for the overall development and environment of the City as a setting for human activities. The Commission meets on the 2nd. and 4th. Thursday of each month, at 5:30p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers.
