Voice Your Opinion About the New Swimming Pool

Tuesday, March 3 @ 7:00 p.m.

The City of El Segundo is building a new outdoor competition swimming pool in coordination with the Wiseburn School District. The Wiseburn School District has committed $6 Million to the project. The City Council will be discussing design options for the new facility at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, March 3 @ 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. The design options will likely require additional City funding and each design has pros and cons associated with it.

The City of El Segundo is implementing new fees for Tennis courts and Beach Shuttle services:

New Tennis Court Reservation Fees beginning April 1st 2015:

New hourly reservation fees will take effect for patrons making Tennis, Paddle Tennis, or Racquetball Court reservations at Recreation Park. Residents with a valid Rec. ID can make reservations up to 6 days in advance. Unreserved courts will be available on a first come, first serve basis to all players at the top of each hour; all fees are listed below. Please visit the Checkout Building or call 310-524-2700 for more information.


El Segundo Residents with a current Rec. ID - $5 per hour
El Segundo For Profit Groups - $10 per hour
Non-Residents - $15 per hour

New Beach Shuttle Fees Beginning March 28, 2015:

Beginning March 28th El Segundo Residents will be required to show a valid Rec ID Card to ride the Beach Shuttle each way. Residents without a valid Recreation ID Card and Non-Resident riders will be required to pay $1 each way to utilize the shuttle. For information on obtaining a Rec ID Card call 310-524-2700.
