3:30  PM 2014 Fall Teen Program: Celebrate Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead!
Between October 15th and November 19th, kids in the 6th grade and up are invited to join in on some great fall activities. Programs will take place on Wednesdays, from 3:30-4:30pm in the Library's Friends of the Library Room.

November 5th: Come decorate your very own Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead whimsical paper Sugar Skull portrait, then frame it to take home!

Farmer's Market is held every Thursday on Main Street between Holly and Pine Avenues.

Enjoy a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables; hot food and baked goods from local merchants; candies; snacks; flowers for your sweetheart and musicians to serenade your spending and browsing.

7:00  PM El Segundo Historical Committee
The El Segundo Historical Committee needs pictures of your home, neighborhood, business, downtown areas, school, church and family activities that give a view of El Segundo's past.

If you do not wish to donate your photos or other memorabilia, the Committee will make copies and return your originals. Please identify your photos as fully as possible.

7:00  PM Library Board of Trustees Meeting
The five board members of the Library Board of Trustees discuss library programs and important issues relating to library services. They meet on a bi-monthly basis on the second Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Library's Rose Garden Room--January, March, May, July, September, and November.

Due to the Veterans' Day holiday, this meeting has been moved from its regularly scheduled day of Tuesday, November 11.
