Multiday List - Layout 1 (with Skip)

This display is design for displaying series of events with their details for a predefined number of days or number of events, skipping the days that have no events.

12:00  PM Drop-In Lobby Events: The How-To's of Antiques and Collecting

The library's Drop-In Lobby Events feature a six-program series with library staff and local guest speakers leading hands-on activities and lecture presentations.

The library is pleased to present Sally and Laurence, of Studio Antiques, as they discuss tips and techniques for antiquing and collecting at 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 28.

All workshops take place in the library's lobby, are free, and include supplies. Please feel free to bring your own supplies for inspiration. For additional information about this or other Drop-In Lobby Events, please call (310) 524-2728.

6:30  PM Evening Book Discussion Featuring The Fortune Teller

Join library staff, authors, and other avid readers in a lively discussion focusing on a book-of-the-month. Free to all, the meetings will be held the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the library's Friends of the Library Room.

We are happy to have a return visit by author Gwendolyn Womack as she leads a discussion of her novel The Fortune Teller on June 28.

8:30  AM Free Computer Class: Excel 2013 basics
This class will cover the basics of how to create a simple spreadsheet, including how to format cells, enter formulas, and manipulate data.

Please note seating is limited and registration is required. Some classes take place when the library is closed and late arrivals will not be admitted 5 minutes after class begins.

Join us for the Fourth of July!

Games, contests, music, food and fun all day; more entertainment and the fireworks spectacular at night! This year will include a special Centennial Finale sponsored by the El Segundo Centennial Committee!

The El Segundo Historical Committee needs pictures of your home, neighborhood, business, downtown areas, school, church and family activities that give a view of El Segundo's past.

If you do not wish to donate your photos or other memorabilia, the Committee will make copies and return your originals. Please identify your photos as fully as possible.
