The City has been advised by Metro of upcoming overnight directional full freeway closures on the I-105 and I-110 freeways due to construction work for the I-105 Express Lanes project.

I-105 Directional Full Freeway Closures – Jan. 30 & 31

• Jan. 30 - Eastbound I-105 full closure between Vermont Ave. and Main St.
  • Friday night, Jan. 30, lane closures beginning at 10:30 p.m.
  • Early Saturday, Jan. 31, 2 - 6 a.m. – Eastbound 105 full freeway closure is in effect
• Jan. 31 - Westbound I-105 full closure between Central Ave and I-110
  • Saturday night, Jan. 31, lane closures beginning at 10 p.m.
  • Early Sunday, Feb. 1, 1 - 5 a.m. – Westbound 105 full freeway closure is in effect

Metro announced that the construction on I-105 will impact the C Line trains. Between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, buses will replace C Line trains between Crenshaw, Vermont, Harbor Freeway, Avalon, and Willowbrook stations.

I-110 Directional Full Freeway Closures – Feb. 2 - 6

• I-110 directional closures implemented between Imperial Hwy. and 120th St.
  • Feb. 2 - 4 Southbound I-110 closure
  • Feb. 5 - 6 Northbound I-110 closure
• Directional full freeway closure implemented from 11:59 p.m. - 5 a.m.
• Closures of inside lanes in the opposite direction of the side of freeway closure will occur simultaneously
• Each night lane closures may begin as early as 10 p.m.

During the implementation of both sets of directional closures, traffic detours will be implemented and advance signage will be installed to alert motorists of freeway closures.
